How to Install a Template in Joomla 4

Installing a template in Joomla 4 is a straightforward process. To get started, it's important to have a template file downloaded and ready to be uploaded to the website. The template file should be a compressed file, mostly ZIP, and should contain the template files and folders.

Once you have the template file, log into the administrator dashboard of your Joomla 4 website. From the menu on the left side, select the Extensions tab and then click on the Manage option. On the next screen, click on the Install button. This will open a new window where you can browse and upload the template file you have downloaded.

Once the template file has been uploaded, you need to install it. To do so, click on the Install button on the same page. After a few seconds, you should see the installation process complete. The template should now be installed and ready to be used.

To make the template active on your website, you need to select it from the list of templates. To do this, go to the Extensions tab again and select the Templates option. On the next page, you should see a list of installed templates. Click on the Make Default button next to the template you want to use and that's it! The template is now active and ready to be used.

Finally, you can customize the template as you wish. To do this, select the template again from the Templates page and click on the Options button to bring up the customization page. Here you can customize the template using the various options available. Once you're done, click on the Save & Close button to save your changes.

That's it! The template should now be installed and active on your website. You can now start customizing it as you wish and make your website look exactly how you want it to look.
